Microphon-a-phobic

The dispersal of my voice all at once
to all your ears
Smother strangle your
Tube Eardrum Tympanum
Wrangling our beauty language
with acrimonious vibration.
“I apologize ahead of time -
I shouldn’t’ve put you through this”
Process slurry pronunciation of my words
Catatonic dissonance; I hear myself
being taped.
I taped myself at a young age
Played it back
Hated it.

Microphones make chameleons out of us all. They return frequencies we might not like, and hide the ones we expect to hear. For the same reasons you may not like to hear your voice recorded, maybe you should look to record more? Develop it and one day, you will look back at your previous explorations and smile. Especially since you pulled a 100% on xbox karaoke.
